Assignment 7- Abby Shadwick

In college, I most look forward to preparing for my future. In more ways than one. Being on my own will teach me more independence, similar to studying my major will prepare me for a career. Of course, I will save time to make lifelong friends. My mother's dearest friends are from college, and she still sees them frequently. The entire idea of controlling my own life, as I would in college, appeals so much to me. Scheduling my classes, managing my time, right down to deciding what I want to cook myself for dinner. College is a gateway to fulfilling years ahead, but I'm not going to let those four years slip away. Finally, finding my purpose in this world would be the cherry on top. I have multiple different career paths in my mind currently, and I honestly don't know which path to take. College would help me to explore my options to discover what I'm passionate about.
