As a junior, the colleges present themselves every day. Emails, letters, school visits, advertisements before videos, colleges find every way to slip into my daily life. I’ve started to contact some of them back, too. In all of this I cannot help but dream of what college can be for me. Although I have no one ideal school in my mind, I have an expectation of what college will look like for me. My primary concern is, of course, education. I expect a high level program in my major of choice and a premier educational experience across the board. As a result, many of the colleges I’ve thoroughly looked into so far are high in the rankings. College, however, is not all about education. While I look to continue taking high-level classes in college, I also hope to make lifelong friends and sustain a healthy lifestyle. I would love to play intramural or club sports in college and hopefully work out some too. I would also like to engage in clubs and organizations to spend time with people with similar interests. I hope to not only grow educationally but rather in a well-rounded manner in college.
