My name is Katherine Henson and I was born and raised in Lexington. I've played the violin for 11 years and am a member of Henry Clay's Orchestra. Over the summer I worked full-time as a lifeguard at Southland Pool which was definitely a learning experience and something I will never forget. I also teach violin lessons and babysit. This year I hope to stay more organized and focused in all areas of life. I've always struggled to stay on top of school assignments and always spread myself to thin when it comes to extracurriculars. I hope this year I am able to stay devoted to my academics and make life easier for myself in terms of homework. Which obviously I'm already failing at as I write the first blog bost the day before all eight are due. One of my favorite websites is a little juvenile but I love https://www.capy.com/ . This is basically a website that has every dress up game ever created. I love clothes and this website is such a fun mindless timewaster. Something that totally geeks me out is the British Royal Family. I self-identify as a royal watcher. My favorite thing about the monarchy is all the rules that have been set up for its members. Rules for clothes, food, and marriage all fascinate me. I've included a picture of my favorite royal, the Duchess of Cambridge aka Kate Middleton. I love her because of her grace and elegance managing all the protocols and being respectful to the history of the crown.
