Assignment 7 - Rob Gilligan - College? Too soon!
As a junior in high school it is certainly time for me to begin considering my options for where I want to apply for college. Something that makes that process all the more different is not knowing what you want to major in, or what you want to be. As many adults force me to do, if I had to pick one college where I want to attend, I would probably select the University of Michigan. It has almost everything I know that I want right now. Although the weather will be cold, the location is not too close to home. I love athletics and have considered majoring in sports management, or sports law. Michigan is fantastic in both of these programs, and a fantastic academic school in general. The actual athletics there are also elite. I would never have to worry that my Alma mater is crappy at sports. The overlying issue with Michigan would be the cost. That is something I hope to cut into with ACT and PSAT scores. Michigan seems like a college that I would enjoy and be able to express myself at.
