In the past twelve months, I think I’ve read like four books. The great gatsby,
Isaac Newton: The Last Sorcerer, the teenage brain, and some other book I probably
forgot. I’m not particularly proud of reading this much. I used to be an avid reader that
would read at least two books a month. But when reading became a mandatory activity
in school it kind of killed my motivation to read anymore. However, I immensely enjoyed
the books I read this year, and in particular the one about Isaac Newton. The book is a
non-fiction story about the life of Isaac Newton. I’ve never had a soft spot for these kinds
of books, but this one felt different to me. It told the story of the unseen side of Newton
that I had never heard about before. It opened me up to the idea of reading it. I can’t
recall any time that I didn’t finish a book that I started, and it is for this reason. I’ve gotten
something out of every book that I’ve read and I intend to finish any book I ever start.
