Assignment #3 - Andrea Dubon- I'm basically greedy

I'm citing my living experience in the U.S as my cultural experience mainly because ties to honduras remain as one of my prime motivators for going through the busy work that is most formal education. Considering this migration happened from when i'm just going off cumulative information but from information on the economic status of some of my relatives and of how my parents grew up i see great differences in were we are now. The difficulties that the country and some of our relatives face in juxtaposition with the issues of the U.S paint a clear picture of how i'm more able to shape my life than others. While i don't like how the education system is set up here i can still see the benefits that it provides over what could've been my life. Hearing and seeing stories on the news isn't my preferred manner of learning about the state of my country but it's the most consistent and helps put doing homework like this into perspective in the grand scene of thing. Seeing the limited opportunities that other countries provide has been the only reason why i'm going to put myself through school to be able to live comfortably. I wish my motivation for going to college and (hopefully) getting into medicine was passion driven but considering my desire to live comfortably has gotten me this far i think i'll be fine.
