My plan for college is to get a full ride to Kentucky and study pre-med while
getting an undergraduate degree in engineering. After this, I will work to get
a medical degree. My dream job since I was three has been to become an
eye doctor. Over the past few years, I have refined this dream job to be an
eye surgeon. Kentucky is the perfect place for me to achieve this for two very
good reasons. First, it is an in-state college and I will likely spend very little to
pay for my education. Second, my dream is very achievable if I went to Kentucky.
personally know two people who have graduated from Kentucky and went on to
become eye surgeons. One of them is my uncle. You may hear advertisements for
him on the radio sometimes. He has performed over 100,000 surgeries so I guess
you could say he’s pretty good. That is my goal. To be able to perform on a level
equivalent to him, and that is how I would use my education from Kentucky.
