Assigment #7 - Andrea Dubon - IDK what i'm doing

College. I've heard it since kindergarten and hated till now. Honestly i don't know where i'm going, mainly wherever accepts me or gives me the best deal, but for this i'm going to play it safe and say UK. Following my though process UK would be the best option for me because, it's instate=cheaper tuition, it has a good medical programs for premed students, it has lots of scholarship options for me, its close to home so i wouldn't have to stay in a dorm, and it has a pretty good track record in terms of local colleges. Top ranked must-have in a college for me would have to be price, whether i can get a good scholarship or it has an reasonable tuition (like those even exist now). This reason makes in- state schools or rural colleges viable options (cause they LOVE diversity @berea) so those would be good fallback options. Secondly would be my actual profession of choice which is as of now an obstetrician, whose interested in cosmetics surgery, which would mean that colleges having good pre-med programs or being in proximity to hospitals, for potential internships, would be good. Aside form the stress ball that is choosing a college i'm excited for the freedom that a loose class schedule will provide for me. I'm also considering some HBCU's so being enveloped in a culture that most resembles my own would be really securing and would be a great way for me to experience some other cultures that i haven't always been exposed to. For social reasons i'm excited and looking forward to college, but for all of the above i'm concerned as to how that will go hopefully one of them will have a lapse in judgement and let me in.
