Assignment 5- Sam Ederington

While TV is an extremely widespread activity, I rarely watch it. For me, YouTube provides much better access to my preferred content. In addition, as a young kid, I found that I preferred to play video games rather than watch tv shows for kids such as Spongebob or Dora the Explorer. My parents further encouraged this behavior by stating that at least video games require some degree of physical movement. Also, my tendencies towards strategic and mentally involved video games certainly helped their train of thought. However this habit stuck with me, and so the only show that I’ve watched in the past 4 years (outside of class) was Mythbusters, and that was almost only ever during their New Years Special. Other than that, I simply don’t watch TV, because it doesn’t provide the content I want, mostly because I primarily want to watch eSports, and a few Total War and League of Legends videos.
