Assignment 8- Madison Underwood- How to Not Annoy Me

Fears- being alone in the dark, letting down the people I love, failure, driving
Annoyances- My annoyances all stem from people's inconsideration towards others. For example, my blood boils when I see someone walk past all of the regular stalls in a public restroom just to use the handicap stall (because it is much larger). It annoys me that they never look behind them to see if they are taking the stall from someone else who actually needs it, but more importantly their lack of consideration altogether for anyone who might walk through those bathroom doors is trumped by their selfishness, all for what? 5 more square feet which you aren't even using? I guess my annoyances also stem from a soft spot I have in my heart for those with special needs- I cannot stand when people are rude to them. My friend Lucy, with whom I participate in a special needs dance class, comes to visit me after school most Fridays and I never cease to be appalled at the rudeness from my fellow peers. Staring and pointing is common, but others go as far as make fun of her because she is different than them.
Accomplishments- first nine weeks of junior year are done
Confusions- excessive swearing (to the point the words lose value) and student disrespect towards faculty
Sorrows- academic insecurities, I compare myself to others too much
Dreams- chemical engineer
Idiosyncrasies- nerd/geek (which by the way carry two different connotations in my eyes)- geek being the more offensive of the two)
Risks- Honestly, I live a life about as far away from risky or dangerous as you can get
Beloved Possessions- loving family, supportive friends
Problems- Overambitious
