Matthew Klee Assignment 12

When thinking about meeting someone new I have a hard time staying calm. I generally get pretty nervous because I'm a huge believer in first impressions as I'm personally a pretty judgy person. The thing I have the least confidence about is keeping a conversation going, and this is what I worry about the most, other than that, I think I come off as a generally decent human being that about anyone could become friends with. I also agree with the statement that a college roommate freshmen year is a huge safety for your social life. For a roommate, I'm looking for someone organized, low-key, but also ready to have fun and enjoys being social. I'm hoping to become pretty decent friends with my roommate so that I don't just come home to my dorm in the evenings after class to not be doing anything other than homework. Overall, I think first impressions are important and that you shouldn't necessarily try to "sell yourself" but just show your true personality with everyone so that you don't have to "fake" like most are in the modern-day social life.
