Assignment 12 - Ethan Scott - My Ideal Roommate

Personally when I come to the point where I have to choose a roommate I don't know how much thought I will put into it. I definitely would not pick one of my close friends (if that was an option) because it is very likely that my friendship with them would drastically change from having to live with them. I would like for them to share interests with me like football and basketball or even music but I don't know if I would really care if we became great friends in the process. It would definitely be a plus but I enjoy the thought of having a roommate that I like but also keep boundaries with so that if a problem arises I don't expect them to rely on our friendship to let it pass but instead respect that one of us has a problem and work to fix it. In terms of something about me, my roommate would definitely have to be okay with the occasional trumpet playing I would do in the dorm.
