Assignment 13- The solution to climate change- Ava Nielsen

Some say that climate change is one of the biggest issues in our world today. People will go vegan, buy electric cars, and even use metal straws to reduce their so-called "carbon footprint". Well, if climate change is such a big deal, why are we ignoring the obvious solution? People have been discussing  the habitation of Mars for YEARS. Isn't it time we finally take action? With climate change destroying the planet, very soon we will be left with a toxic, barren environment-- but this can easily change if we just send everyone to Mars! Sure, the planet consists of miles upon miles of barren red desert and an average temperature of -80 degrees, but whats wrong with that- a little change never hurt anybody! And I'm sure we've all seen The Martian: that guy had no trouble growing food on the surface of Mars, which is more than we can say for Earth, especially with all the deforestation and destruction of the 21st century. The immediate habitation of Mars is the only way to save ourselves before it's too late.
