Assignment 14- Katelyn Rowell- A Crazy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is an interesting time of the year for my family. Sometimes we spend it with my mom’s side of the family, and other times we spend it with my dad’s. Either way, the holiday is pretty crazy. My dad comes from a pretty large family. He has one sister and three brothers who all have little kids. This means that during Thanksgiving, there are 22 people under one roof. In the past couple of years, I’ve had to become pretty good at taking care of little kids. Individually, my cousins are pretty easy to take care of. But when you put them all together, things get pretty hectic. One of my cousins is named Colton, and he has recently turned two. His hobbies include banging his head against the wall for fun and falling on purpose. In a setting with a lot of screaming and running little kids, he feels the need to really show off this hobby. In other words, it becomes a difficult task to keep all the kids in line and to avoid a trip to the ER. But even though things get a little crazy at Thanksgiving, it’s still a time I look forward to every year.
