Assignment 14 - Ethan Scott - We Are the Stuffing
For many years, since before I was born, my father's side of the family has hosted thanksgiving at his grandparents or my great-grandparents house. On its own this house is perfectly fine for my great-grandparents and my aunt who cares for them but the house is also very old and small. So over time as families experience kids having more kids and those kids having more kids a family finds itself becoming rather large. This alone has become a major problem among the family because many people find themselves unhappy during and after thanksgiving because too many people were jammed into a small home in downtown Lexington. In our family we have over 100 people show up on thanksgiving day which has lead to us becoming packed within the home from wall to wall and no place to move. Essentially we have become the stuffing to the home, if the home was a turkey.
