Assignment 13 - William Begley - MY Proposal

Most people have seen on the news all the bad things going on in the world. Whether is be diseases, war, shootings, famine, or any other terrible things. This is why I have come up with one wide spread solution to these problems, eliminating news. By getting rid of the news, people will no longer hear about all these bad things so we can pretend they don't happen, this will also make it so people can no longer get bad ideas from the news like how to kill. This elimination of news will also spread happiness as people would no longer read about bad things and therefore not feel bad about these things happening. Getting rid of free press and allowing the government to control news would especially help to control the spread of bad information and would only help to get rid of the bad things happening in the world and allow them to only spread positive news to show people they are living a perfect life and should be happy.
