How to Solve the Water Crisis-Connor Foley Assignment 13
Many countries today are running out of water at a rapid rate. There just isn't enough liquid H20 to go around. Except, there is. The answer has been in front of us the whole time. We've been so busy looking in silly places like the ocean, the rivers, the ponds, and the children's pools at the YMCA. Think about it...what do we learn in biology class? Our bodies are made up of 70% water. That's like, at least 4 grams of water, by my calculations. So here's the proposition: we siphon just a little bit of water out of ourselves, and then drink it. But once we've consumed that, what do we do? Well, that's the beauty of the human body...we recycle our own liquids! Now, drinking pee may sound gross at first...but you have to realize that Bear Grylls does it, so it must be okay. Plus, studies actually show that human urine shares 95% DNA with Sprite Lymonade. So how bad could it be?
