Usually, I think of myself as more of a pacifist-war, given the destruction and loss of human life that always
accompanies it- is pretty much unjustifiable in most cases. However, I can admit that there are times that,
when all other options have been exhausted, war can be used as a last ditch effort to come to settle a conflict.
When peace is no longer an option, i.e. when one side has threatened or attacked the other side or caused
harm to others, the nation has a right to defend themselves. Despite my stance against it, there is always
an exception to the moral transgression of war, and most people can agree that when a nation is threatened,
it is acceptable for them to protect themselves.
