Assignment 15- Abby Shadwick- APAH

Absolutely, certainly, definitely, Art History makes me geek out. This past year, I took AP Art History and loved it so much, studying didn't feel like studying. I did it in my free time. Seriously. I've never felt that way about any class. From cave paintings to Ai Weiwei, the message each different work presented was fascinating. The artists behind each work (if we knew who he or she was) fascinated me. Especially what they cared about, what drove them. The facts and info just slapped themselves onto my brain like wallpaper. I realized that this is something I may choose as my major in college, and if not, I'll at least minor in it. If I want to learn more, I turn to my Art History mentor: Mr. Junker. His knowledge is vast, and it is obvious. He pours into each of his students daily, because he cares so much. Shoutout Mr. J!
