Assignment 9 - Beppy Badgett - War.

I do believe there is some time and place for war, but only if all other options have been exhausted. In a perfect world there would be no need for wars to happen, however we need to understand that not every conflict can be resolved with peaceful negotiation. I believe war is only necessary when the opposing side has directly endangered human lives, in other words I think it is better not to be the aggressor in most cases. Honestly I believe war is morally wrong, I don't think it is ever ok to take another persons life, and in most cases the people being harmed in wars have had very little to do with the initial injustice. When a nation threatens or actually attacks another, and peaceful negotiations are no longer an option, I believe it is the right of that country to defend their people, so I see war as the lesser of two evils.
