Assignment 19: Tag Howard

In middle school one of my teachers told me that I should always look to the future, think about what the truly long term magnitude and impact of any action will be and apply that knowledge. Thanks to that advice I always try to keep in mind not just the short term repercussions of making a particular course but what could (even improbably) ten, twenty, even thirty years from now. It is that thought that has kept me from making a number of potentially bad decisions, and from ones that seem good in the short term but could be dangerous in the future. Of course the same applies for the reverse, but I will be the first to admit that I do not always apply it like I should, namely in school by not showing the proper level of dedication or care to my work, leading to struggling grades across the board. But hopefully soon I can apply this advice ore evenly and that that application will be rewarding in the long term.
