Assignment 19 - Averi Ricks
Honestly, this might sound really bad, but I can't think of any advice given to me that's stuck my entire life. My dad is always giving me life lessons and advice which is a good thing, but he gives me a lecture about life at least once a day so of course I don't remember everything he tells me. I remember most of it, but there's not one that I use a lot. I usually come up with things on my own to make me feel better and I live by those things. Last year, I would always get super stressed out after every test I took because I felt like I failed it, but then I started telling myself that there's no point in being stressed out because I can't change how I did on it. So on tests I didn't do very well on, I'd just tell myself I can't change the score so I shouldn't be too upset about it. This has made me feel better about tests in school because I don't really stress about them after I take them anymore I just move on to the next thing.
