Assignment 12- Katelyn Rowell- My Ideal Roomate

It’s crazy to think that I will soon be living on campus with a roommate. I’ve never really shared a room with anyone for a long time, so having a roommate will be a new experience for me. In the past few years, I’ve discovered I’m much more of a night owl than a morning bird. I do most of my homework at night when everyone else in my house is asleep. I’m not sure why, but I’m always much more productive when it’s dark out. I would rather stay up late studying or working on a project and have classes later in the day rather than at the crack of dawn. Ideally, I would want a roommate who runs on the same schedule. As for cleanliness, I would consider myself somewhat of a neat person, so I hope my roommate would be as well. I’m okay if her things are a little messy, so long as her mess doesn’t flood over to my side. I also hope to have a roommate who is outgoing. I’m planning on going out of state for college, so I’m going to have to make new friends. Because of this, it would be nice to have an outgoing and social roommate who likes to try new things and get out of the dorm. I would much rather spend a Saturday night at a football game meeting new people than being cooped up in our tiny room.
