Assignment 10 - Jordan Grady - Zombies Would Probably Win

Zombies, zombies everywhere! When it comes to the fight or flight reflex, is there a “frozen with fear” option? Considering my inability to make it through a haunted house, a real zombie apocalypse would probably be fatal for me. If by some miracle, I came to my senses, no longer paralyzed by the sight of zombies, I would run as fast as my legs can carry me. Family in tow, I think the safest option would be to hide in the mall. Lots of supplies and plenty of hiding spots would be available. Though there are plenty of entrances and exits, we could use this to our advantage, assuring a safe way of escape if we were to be confronted by an animated corpse. If all else fails, I’d bet that their lifeless brains and rotting legs would be bewildered by the escalators, giving us time to gain speed and escape. These plans, of course, are not foolproof. If I were confronted face to face by a zombie, it would be an automatic defeat. I’m a freezer, not a fighter.
