My thanksgiving is about as regular as it gets and also very brief. Usually we leave either on thanksgiving or the day before and drive three hours to Knoxville where my grandparents and aunt on my dad's side live and we have our thanksgiving dinner at around two o'clock at my aunt's house with that group of family and my cousins then we go back to my grandparents house where we spend the night and come back the next day. I don't think I've ever really enjoyed the holiday for any fact other than getting out of school. I enjoy my family but I see them at other times in the year and we don't ever do anything fun. My best memory from thanksgiving is when I went with my cousin Jack a day early after he came and picked me up from Lexington and we went 130 mph in his Subaru WRX on the highway on our way to Knoxville and then going 115 in his friends Mustang the next day.
