Assignment 13 - Beppy Badgett - Outlaw Trash

Many have heard of the growing problem of landfill overflow and trash ending up in the ocean, but how do we combat this? The answer is simple, just make trash illegal. Now before you freak out, don't worry, I'm not proposing everyone has to stop using plastic or put all their trash in a mason jar. To eliminate the garbage problem, you just simply have to eat your trash. When you finish a bag of chips, just eat the bag too! When you want to throw away a banana peel, pop it in your mouth and chew! Some people might be concerned with consuming plastic or "harmful chemicals" but just think, if we don't eat it the fish will, and we eat fish, so were already consuming those substances, why not just cut out the middle man/ fish. We cannot over look the fact that there is some trash that you simply do not want to eat, used tissues, motor oil, etc, and for this there is also a solution. You can hire people to eat undesirable trash for you. This not only eliminates extra garbage, but stimulates the economy by creating new jobs. Overall, outlawing trash is the best solution to pollution.
