Assignment 10- Hayden Caldwell- My Worst Fear

I apologize in advance for picking objectively the most boring prompt of the four for Halloween. Sorry, but I figured that I use this prompt to explain why I chose this prompt. My biggest fear is failure, not necessarily the feeling of messing up (we’re all human and are going to do that at some point) but rather the social embarrassment that comes with putting yourself out there and falling flat on your face. I’m not exactly what one would call “good at laughing at themselves” and it shows quite a bit. Whether it’s writing a boring paper, answering a boring blog post question, or outside of AP Lang, my hatred of dancing and dressing up shows that I’m pretty much the definition of “play it safe.” While I can consciously understand that taking risks makes life more fun, it’s not exactly easy to overcome a fear. Hopefully it comes eventually, but often times I find this fear negatively affects the decisions I make.
